A normal blood circulation is very necessary for a healthy body and proper functioning of all the systems. Improper blood supply to the organs causes a number of ailments and disorders. However, Yoga plays a vital role in regulating the blood supply. In order to keep the blood circulation correct, practice 'Vaam-Dakshin-Pad-Sparshasan'.
Method of performing the 'asana':
Stand erect on some mat, keeping at least 1 meter distance between the legs.
Inhale and while exhaling bend downward and touch the left foot by right hand.
Now touch the right foot with left hand
Avoid knee bending while touching the feet.
Repeat this process 5 to 10 times to attain complete stretch of the waist.
Benefits of the 'asana':
A regular practice of this asana provides an effective stretch to the entire body thus improving the blood circulation.
The asana is quite helpful in reducing fat-deposition around the waist.
The asana keeps the intestine healthy.
