Papayas are very high on nutritional value. Rich in anti-oxidants, vitamin B, folate and pantothenic acid; and minerals, potassium and magnesium; and fiber, papayas are very valuable in aiding digestion.
Ripe papaya is easily digestible and prevents constipation. It is very effective in fighting stomach problems, amnesia and spleen problems.
Papaya leaves are very effective in controlling high blood pressure and keeping heart beat normal. Papaya also helps increase sperm productions and get rid of gas problems.
    
Consuming papaya even helps speed up healing process. Raw papaya milk is very effective against skin problems.
Papaya’s fiber is able to bind to cancer-causing toxins in the colon and keep them away from the healthy colon cells. In addition, papaya’s folate, vitamin C, beta-carotene, and vitamin E have each been associated with a reduced risk of colon cancer.
Apart from this papaya is very good for those who frequently suffer from cold, cough or flu. The high concentration of Vitamin C and Vitamin A contained in papaya is very beneficial to strengthen the immune system.
